Even More Arden Vul art!

This one's an illustration of the Troll Lifts: a system of lifts that can move groups level to level if they don't piss off one of the major factions. Think before fighting in Arden Vul!

Whip Smart (The Salt Mine #6)

Proud to say Whip Smart, the new Salt Mine novel is out and about!

Welcome to the Salt Mine, a black ops agency that monitors and manages supernatural activity from its subterranean headquarters in the deep mineral mines of Detroit, Michigan. When magic is real, someone has to keep it in check.

When jammer Slashy Sadie of the Detroit Roller Derby is found dead in her loft, Detroit PD is on the case. After all, what’s supernatural to being stabbed in the chest? That is the burning question Agent Teresa Martinez—codename Lancer—must answer as she takes over esoteric surveillance of Detroit in Fulcrum’s absence.

Will the Salt Mine subvert the plots in motion before it’s too late?

More Arden Vul art...

This is an illo of one of the few remaining survivors of the the space ship that crashed into AV thousands of years ago. He's not quite the same as he used to be, and he's going to be a hell of challenge to anyone who meets him face-to-face. This one's by Rich Longmore.

Bottom Line: The Salt Mine series book 5 now available!

Happy New Year to everyone! We're pleased to announce that Bottom Line, the 5th book in the Salt Mine series (paranormal detective) is out and in the wild. Suzi and I have also put up preorders for # 6-9 and have plotted out stories for books out to #12.

I think they're smashing fun reads, and if you're a Kindle Unlimited reader, you can read them via that service for free. Oh, and if you pick them up and like them please leave a review: reviews are vitally important to indie authors.

Welcome to the Salt Mine, a black ops agency that monitors and manages supernatural activity from its subterranean headquarters in the deep mineral mines of Detroit, Michigan. When magic is real, someone has to keep it in check.
All eyes are on the seas around Cape Verde when an underwater lab explodes and a Russian spy ship goes down. While the 24-hour news cycle looks for mundane explanations, the Salt Mine and Ivory Tower know better. Agent David Wilson—codename Fulcrum—dives the oceans and secrets of one of Monaco’s elite families to unravel this conundrum.
Will he get to the bottom of it before any more damage is done—both in the water and to the fabric of reality?

Advanced Adventures #37: Under Ruined Onm

So we've got a cover for AA#37: Under Ruined Omn. The talented Mr. Bradley McDevitt returns to AA covers with Under Ruined Onm! This one should be coming out in the next few months.
Nearly seventy five years ago the greatest bard ever known in the dry land of Zanzia disappeared. Anton Deangelo was a hero famous for some of the greatest songs in Zanzian history. His compositions are still sung at taverns and inns all over the land. In verse, countless dragons he slew, dozens of giants he felled, and hundreds of demons he put to the sword! Outside of the world of song, he and his band of adventurers gathered significant riches and looted many dungeons all over the land. Then suddenly…he was gone.
The last time he was heard from he and his merry band were outfitting an expedition to explore the ruined city of Onm in search of the lost mandolin of Duaree the Mad. The Onm ruins are on the edge of the Blood River and the Dragon Teeth Mountains and no other ruins fabled enough to attract Deangelo are known to be in that area.

Advanced Adventures and the Art of John and Daisy Bingham

John Bingham has done the majority of the interior art for the Advanced Adventures, and for the Advanced Adventures currently in the Bundle of Holding (only $16 for 15 modules, so yeah, an awesome deal).

The reason why I've worked so much with John is that I think his style in precisely in keeping with the aesthetics of the early (77-82ish) modules released for 1st Edition. Just take a look at the following 5 illustrations and you'll see what I mean. Not only is John a great artist, he's also a good guy to work with for another important reason: he's always on time. I think over the decade that I've worked with him he's been late (never more than a week) on something like two or three times, which is astoundingly consistent delivery for this industry. If you're looking for an artist, I can't recommend him enough.

Oh, did I mention that after working with John for a few years he told me that his wife Daisy can do color work with him? Now most of the cover illustrations in the Advanced Adventure line are done by the duo. I've attached five of the covers as well so you can see that together they really create some great art.
