This exhaustive work records the behaviors of burrowing mammals, and is heartily sought by magic-users throughout the lands. It contains rigorous scholarship and artful illustration of over 30 different types of burrowing mammals common to the northern hemisphere. Near the middle of the text, Clevehame secreted a personally-researched spell, Clevehame’s Mapping Eye. He used the spell to map out the burrows of his subjects, but magic-users since have used it for more practical reasons.

This spell is similar to wizard eye, excepting the eye passes through holes of only half an inch diameter. At the end of the spell, the eye instantly returns to the caster’s hand and transforms into an accurate parchment map of the area witnessed.
